Abstract | The quality of psychiatric nursing care is closely linked to the satisfaction of the nursing team. Physical and verbal aggression are the main reasons that nurses feel a deterioration of their professional identity. Finding a better method to restrict violence can lead towards better motivation for the whole team. It also lessens the personal traumas of individual health care workers. In cases where nursing care is unable to be effective it is importatnt to point to the problems and to suggest some solutions. This would raise the quallty of nursing care and thus also reduce violence from patients. | |
