Abstract		This paper presents the Slovenian criminal legislation regarding the cited problem and the number of reported offences over the period of the last five years. It also includes a summary of the Article dealing with the breach of sexual untouchability by the abuse of power from the side of male authors, which have been warning about the need for a more restrictive use of the said article. The author defines sexual harassment as a violent act in the context of the unbalanced power between men and women, and the subsequent division of their roles. Drawing upon her own experience she compares the problems of sexual harassment found within the framework of the police and health organisations, concluding that in both it is a significant problem.
