Abstract		Health state of population is expressed with health state indicators. In the study has been shown health state of population of Koper region in the last decade in comparison with Slovene and European average according to some of 21 health for all targets established by World health organization Regional office for Europe. It has been established that most of the health state indicators of population of Koper region show equale or more favourable situation in comparison with European average. Situation in Koper region is by few indicators less favourable from Slovenian average (age-standardised death rate because of cancer of the cervix and diabetes, hospital dischages because of circulatory system disease, chronic liver diseases and cirrhosis and mental disorders). Findings in study are showing that more accurate analysis are needed.
