Abstract     AC electrical conduction through the human tooth has been analyzed by measuring the tooth impedance in-vitro with LCR meter and construction of electrical model of the tooth. The impedance has predominantly resistive character when the file tip inserted in the tooth canal has not reached the apical foramen and drops significantly when the apical foramen is reached Several circuit models are discussed that could model AC current conduction through the tooth. A more exact approach is shown by using 3D numerical simulation.
