Abstract     The pollen measurement has been performed on two locations in Slovenia: in the central part of the state in Ljubljana and at the north Adriatic coast in Koper. In May a diversity of airborne pollen was grate: On both locations the pollen types such as hornbeam, pine, ash, plantain, grass, oak, elder, sorrel and cypress and yew familly were in the air all month round. Only on the coast region the pellitory and the olive pollen was observed. The season of maple, chest nut, plane tree pollen fade out in may. The pollen of lime tree and ligustrum started to appear. The concentrations were very low. Alergologicaly the grass pollen was the most important in Slovenia. In Ljubljana the concentration in the first third of May was low, the rest of the month moderate and high. The concentration in Koper was clearly lower.
