Abstract     Symptoms of virus infections on zucchini are present on leaves and fruits of diseased plants. Economically most important viruses are Cucumber mosoic cucumovirus (CMV) and Zucchini yellow mosaic potyvirus (ZYMV). Symptoms of both are present also on infected fruits. Plants with symptoms were collected on Karst and around Nova Gorica. ELISA checked the presence of CMV. For other viruses (ZYMV, Watermelon mosaic potyvirus WMV, Papaya ringspot potyvirus - PRSV, Moroccan watermelon mosaic potyvirus - MWMV) immunoelectron microsopy was used. All tested samples were infected with at least two viruses. The most prevalent viruses were WMV and CMV less spread was ZYMV, The correlation between type of symptoms and presence of different viruses in single samples was not found.
