Abstract     The impact of the indoor environment on the health of employees in the central office of Slovenia Telecom was studied in the framework of a national research project. An extensive survey on working conditions, health and health problems of employees, and feeling of wellbeing at work was carried out. Analysis of the thermal environment and air quality parameters showed that these had essentially no negative influences on the comfort of employees. Analysis of the connections between these parameters in the working environment and the survey answers indicate that the working environment alone does not have an inf(uence on the state of health and response to stress at work. Other factors seem to have more of an influence on health and feeling of stress at work, such as the level of regard for one's work, motivation, the meaning of the work for the individual, and the perspective of the individual.
