Abstract     In the frame of the working group 3, Genetic and cell programmes, the influence of growth regulators jasmonic acid and zeatin ribozide on growth and plant defence responses after mycorrhizal infection of peas Pisum sativum with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi was studied. We also studied the effects of mycorrhizal infection on winter garlic Allium satiuum. Main topics of the work was devoted to growth parameters and SDS-PAGE electrophoresis analysis, In the frame of the working group 4, Mycorrhizal technology, an estimation of I mycorrhizal status of some plant species growing on the polluted sites of Žerjav was made. The results have shown that mycorrhizal status depends on the level of pollution, so that the most polluted site showed the lowest levels of plant mycorrhizal'', infection. The research will continue on mycorrhizal infection of the accumulator genus Thlaspi. We prepared the inoculums from polluted and nonpolluted sites. The inoculums were tested on some agricultural plant species. The inoculation has positive effects on growth and development of the selected plants.
