Abstract		Chlamydiae are the most common cause of reactive arthritis, particularly Chlamydia trachomatis We are presenting the case of a 41-year-old patient with reactive arthritis caused by Chlamydia pneumoniae. The diagnosis was based on proof of specific anti Chlamydia pneumoniae IgG antibodies in serum and joint biopsy specimen as well as on the basis of positive PCR investigation of the specimen. The effectiveness of 3-month treatment with Doxycycline administered in two daily 100 mg doses confirms the diagnosis.
