Abstract     Appropriate design of e-learning applications is fundamental for efficient learning experience for students with special needs. Such a system can be a vital part of rehabilitation process since it provides access to learning for users, who encounter difficulties in accessing traditional learning. An existing e-learning system was evaluated from the usability and accessibility perspective. The evaluation included the analysis of the key features and a practical usability study. Combining the results of both approaches we created a set of functional guidelines of a new version of the e-learning system. When implemented the new features will ensure a better design of the e-learning application and we expect every user to benefit from it.
