Abstract     The pollen measurement has been performed on three locations in Slovenia: in the central part of Slovenia in Ljubljana, in Hraše in the rural area of northern part of Ljubljana's basin and at the North Mediterranean coast in Koper. In July we registered 26 pollen types in the air, allergologicaly were important the following ones. Grass (Poaceae); Sweet Chestnut (Castanea sativa), Mugwort (Artemisia), Nettle family (Urticaceae), Lime tree (Tilia) and Plantain (Plantago). Pelitory (Parietaria) pollen from the Nettle familly was airborne only in Mediterranean area. Figure 6.1. presents the average daily concentration of airborne pollen in Ljubljana, Hraše and Koper in July 2001, the main pollen types are also presented on figures in this paper. The pollen season of almost all species started in previous months and continued to appear in July. Only Mugwort pollen started to appear in July.
