Abstract		The article presents the methodology of the measurement of the quantity of the work in nursing care that is used in an international project "Quality and quantity in nursing care" in Health Center Maribor. It describes the instruments that are adapated for the Slovene situation. The methodology is based on observation and on measurements of all activities of the nurses and the health technicians, categorisation of patients according to their needs for nursing care, subjective scores of the nurse on the workload on the day of the measurements and calculation and evaluation of the measurements.
Summary		V članku je prikazana metodologija merjenja količine dela v zdravstveni negi, uporabljena v mednarodnem projektu "Količina in kakovost v zdravstveni negi" v Zdravstvenem domu dr. Adolfa Drolca Maribor. Opisana so orodja, ki so prilagojena slovenskim razmeram. Metodologija temelji na opazovanju in merjenju vseh aktivnosti medicinskih sester in zdravstvenih tehnikov, razvrščanju pacientov v kategorije glede na njihovo potrebo po zdravstveni negi, subjektivni oceni medicinskih sester o delovni obremenitvi na dan meritev ter izračunu in ovrednotenju dobljenih meritev.
