Abstract		Videoendostroboscopy is a valuable tool in the diagnostic procedure in patients with laryngeal and hypopharyngeal diseases. It is very important in assessing the organic causes of the dysphonia, especially in the early detection of vocal fold cancer. Stroboscopy has a substantial role in the diagnostics of functional voice disorders. It can present the larynx in the patients in whom indirect laryngoscopy is difficult to perform because of objective or subjective reasons. Videoendostroboscopy has the greatest value when performed by an experienced specialist who can correlate its findings with the clinical picture of the disease.
