Abstract		Benign lesions of the neck present themselves as lumps of different time duration. They can be classified as congenital disorders, inflammations or benign tumors involving soft tissue, lymph nodes, salivary, thyroid, and parathyroid glands. Clinicopatologic picture of most of the lesions is presented briefly. In order to achieve quick and accurate diagnosis the importance of good clinico-pathological cooperations is emphasized.
