Abstract		Deformed toes are a very frequent disease. The most frequent deformation is hammertoe. This deformation ofen results in callosity or ulcer, caused by shoe pressure. These changes appear more frequently with diabetics who suffer from diabetic nevropathy. With these patients is very often developed infection. It can also infect bone, what frequenthly results in toe amputation. This article shows a case of surgical treatment of hammertoe with transposition of flexor digitorum longus and interphalangeal joint arthroplasty. In the conclusion is mentoned the importance of risky groups education as the early diagnostics and the therapy of deformed foot with diabetics.
Summary		Deformacije prstov na nogi so zelo pogoste spremembe. Najbolj pogosta sprememba je hammer toe ali prst v obliki kladiva. Omenjena sprememba povzroča pojav hiperkeratoz ali razjed na mestih pritiska na čevelj. Te spremembe se pogosto opažajo pri sladkornih bolnikih z izraženo diabetično nevropatijo. Pri teh bolnikih pogosto prihaja do razvoja vnetja, ki lahko zajame kost, kar se pogosto konča z amputacijo prsta. V prispevku je prikazan primer operativnega zdravljenja spremembe hammer toe s transpozicijo dolgega fleksorja in artroplastiko interfalangealnega sklepa. V zaključku omenjamo pomen izobraževanja skupin z dejavniki tveganja ter zgodnje diagnostike in zdravljenja sprememb na stopalu pri bolnikih s sladkorno boleznijo.
