Abstract		The article is a summary of practice guidelines, those related to organization and those strictly professional. Practice guidelines are in fact recommendations to assist the anaesthesiologist. The purposes of these Guidelines are to enhance the quality of anaesthesia care for obstetric patients; reduce the incidence and severity of anaesthesia-related complications and increase the patient satisfaction.
