Abstract     Monitoring of inspired, expired air; gases and anaesthetic mixtures is integral and important part of system of monitoring where measuring of inspired and expired C02 has a special role. Capnometry enables indirect monitoring of lung ventilation, distribution of blood flow and metabolic activity (1). Capnometry is, a method of measuring and numeric presentation of concentration or partial pressure of C02 during inspiration and expiration while capnography is a method of graphic presentation of C02 concentration in expired air or anaestehetic mixture with a graph called capnograph.
