Abstract | Foreign bodies in esophagus are rarely the cause of emergency situations in gastroenterology. Presented is the case of a 63-year-old male patient who had swallowed a chicken bone which had become lodged in the upper esophagus. During intervention endoscopic investigation, the sharp foreign body, a triangular 35 x 25 mm large chicken bone, was removed by the assistence of a Sengstaken tube. | |
