Abstract     The objective evaluation of the muscle strains is very important when analyzing work and it's consequences - work related and professional diseases and preparing ergonomic solutions in work places. The electrical activity of the right dominant upper arm muscles, mainly musculus biceps brachii, was determined during isometric and dynamic 'work by surface electromyography in seven healthy men. Electrical signals were processed by Fast Fourier Transform and expressed as total electrical muscular power (TEMM). TEMM was correlated with mechanical strains defined in two different ways. Torque calculation were used to evaluate isometric, while rotation impulse was taken as a dynamic measurement of strains. Within person correlations between torque and TEMM ranged from 0.92 to 0.96 (p<_0.01) while the correlation between rotation impulse and TEMM were 0.66 to 0.87 (p<_0.01). As expected isometric and dynamic strengths measurements gave different results. Larger TEMM are by dynamic strengths (analysis of variance by significance p<_0.002). The same method was used in the analysis of the work cycle called "cleaning of drop in shaft", which is one of the tasks of the self governing mechanic in the Thermal Power Plant at Šoštanj. From the correlation between mechanical strains and processed electrical signal by standardization it was assumed on muscle strains at professional work from TEMM during work. And physiological standards for them exist. In our case they were not exceeded.
Summary     Objektivna določitev obremenjenosti mišičnega sistema je zelo pomembna pri analizah delovnih mest, pri analizi posledic preobremenitev - bolezni v zvezi z delom ter poklicnih bolezni - in pri pripravi ter izvedbi ergonomskih ukrepov na delovnih mestih. V laboratorijskih pogojih je bilo pri sedmih zdravih prostovoljcih z metodo površinske elektromiografije spremljano električno dogajanje v mišicah nadlahti desnega, dominantnega zgornjega uda (pretežno v musculus biceps brachii) med izometrično in dinamično obremenitvijo. Izometrična obremenitev je bila izražena kot navor, dinamična pa kot vrtilna količina. Električna aktivnost je bila obdelana z metodo hitre Fourierjeve transformacije. Izkazalo se je, da je tako ugotovljena totalna električna mišična moč (TEMM) odvisna od velikosti obremenitve. Pri izometrični obremenitvi je koeficient korelacije med mehansko obremenitvijo in TEMM 0,92-0,96 pri tveganju p <=0,01, pri dinamični obremenitvi pa je koeficient 0,66-0,87 pri tveganju p <=0,01. Z analizo variance je prikazano, da se TEMM pri izometrični in dinamični obremenitvs z enakim zunanjim bremenom razlikuje. Večja je pri dinamični, pri tveganju p <=0,002. Enaka metoda je bila uporabljena pri analizi tehnološkega opravila "čiščenje vpadnega jaška" na delovnem mestu samostojni ključavničar v Termoelektrarni Šoštanj. Pri standardizaciji je bila za delavca najprej dobljena zveza med mehansko obremenitvijo in elektromiografsksm signalom. Iz TEMM med delom je bila nato ocenjena mehanska obremenitev, za katero so znani fiziološki standardi. V našem primeru jih poklicno delo ni prekoračevalo.
