Abstract | The southern green stink bug Nezara viridula (L.) (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae) is a global pest of considerable ecological, agricultural and economical interest. This species is very common along the Slovenian coast of Adriatic sea and spreads up to the edge of Kraški rob and to the parts influenced by Mediterranean climate (Nova Gorica, Tolmin). Populations from Slovenia, France, French West Indies (Guadeloupe) and Brazil were asseyed for temporal parameters of their vibrational songs and for biochemical genetic variation. Results indicate that there are consistent differences among population. | |
