Abstract		The results of analysis of di8'erent foodstuffs for chemical contaminants - pesticide residues, mycotoxins (aflatoxins) and toxic metals (Pb, Cd, Hg, As) - which were carried out in laboratories of ZZV-s and IVZ between 1995-1997 showed, that food safety was not problematic as regards contamination with the a.m. contaminants.
