Abstract		Rapid tests could be quite helpfull in analytical chemistry. - On the field of water analysis we use them for preliminary testing, for daily screening analysis, etc. They are suitable for drinking water, bath water and for waste water analysis. - Rapid tests applications to water analysis are simple to use and economical. - They are mostly based on colorimetric, photometric and also on titrimetric determinations. Colorimetric and photometric tests for drinking water analysis will be represented in this lecture.
