Abstract		In the article is described the work of physiotherapist in the process of the decision for an orthotic aid. The importance of the assessment of functional abilities of the patient, made by physiotherapist is stressed. This assessment is the basis of the decision for the appropriate orthotic aid. The role of preorthotic and postort hotic programme of physiotherapy is described. The importance of the collaboration between the members of the rehabilitation team is emphasised.
Summary		V prispevku obravnavamo delo fizioterapevta pri oskrbi bolnikov z ortotskimi pripomočki. Poudarjamo pomen fizioterapevtske ocene funkcionalnega stanja bolnika, ki služi za osnovo pri izbiri ustreznega pripomočka. Posebej je izpostavljen pomen dela z bolnikom v času, ko se za pripomoček odločamo, ter tudi tedaj, ko ga je že prejel. Z namenom, da zagotovimo za bolnika najprimernejši pripomoček, je v prispevku posž bej izpostavljen pomen predortotičnega in poortotičnega programa fizioterapije. V procesu odločanja za pripomoček je poudarjen pomen sodelovanja med različnimi strokovnjaki, člani rehabilitacijske delovne skupine.
