Abstract | Saltpans Sečovlje is a natural extremophilic marine habitat. The prevailing environmental factors present in summer are high salt concentration and high temperature. Using different techniques, filamentous fungi were isolated from air, soil and water samples. The isolated fungi are in general terrestrial xerophilic and xerotolerant species, that belong mostly to the following genera: Aspergillus, Paecilomyces, Penicillium, Acremonium, Alternaria, Ulocladium and Arthrinium.
Summary | Sečovljske soline so naravni ekstremni morski habitat. Prevladujoči dejavniki v tem okolju v poletnem času so visoke koncentracije soli in visoke temperature. Z uporabo različnih tehnik smo iz zraka, talnih in vodnih vzorcev izolirali nitaste glive. Izolirane glive so v glavnem terestrične kserofilne in kserotolerantne vrste, ki večinoma pripadajo naslednjim rodovom: Aspergillus, Paecilomyces, Penicillium, Acremonium, Alternaria, Ulocladium in Arthrinium.
