| Abstract | Acute coronary syndrome is relatively new term in literature. It includes unstable angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction and sudden ishemic death. The present review describes current approach and treatment, which begins in prehospital setting and continues in emergency coronary unit and cateterization Lab oratory. Autor suggest more unified approach to the acute coronary syndrome in Slovenia. Some facts are over-simplified in order to enhance understanding and memorizing of the essentials. | |
