Abstract		We tested of subacute toxicity of the herbicide 2,4- dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) was carried out on adult Hsd Cpb albino rats of both sexes. The herbicide was administered in doses of 11 mg/kg and 110 mg/kg body mass. Control group was administered clean tap water with. Analyses of blood samples were performed on the 6žh and 13th day of the experiment using the Bayer Technical H* 1 automatic haematological analyser. The results indicate the significant effect of 2,4-D on the red and white cell count, haemoglobin concentrations, mean cell volumes and on the packed cell volume in female Hsd Cpb albino rats.
Summary		Na odraslih albino podganah pasme Hsd Cpb obeh spolov smo opravili poskus subakutne toksičnosti herbicida 2,4-diklorofenoksiocetne kisline (2,4-D). Herbicid smo uporabili v odmerku 11 in 110 mg/kg telesne mase, živali kontrolne skupine pa so dobivale enako količino vodovodne vode. Krvni vzorci so bili odvzeti 6. in 13. dan poskusa, analiza krvnih parametrov je bila opravljena z avtomatskim hematološkim analizatorjem Bayer Technical H*1. Aplikacija herbicida 2,4-D je vplivala na vrednosti števila eritrocitov in levkocitov, hematokrita in koncentracije hemoglobina pri albino podganah pasme Hsd Cpb.
