Abstract		Institute of Public Health (IPH) Maribor, with 236 employee and annual income of 2,250,000,000 SIT is the biggest regional IPH in Slovenia. In 2001 IPH Maribor was awarded the quality certificate EN 45001 for chemical laboratory, in April 2002 quality certificate SIST ISO 17025 for microbiologic laboratory and in 1999 was awarded ISO 9001 for the activities of deratization, desinsection and disinfection. In the middle of the year 2002 quality certificate award ISO 9001 for all Institute activities is foreseen.
