Abstract		Paper deals with supply and demand side for health and other services, contributions, consider as benefits from compulsory health care insurance, and possible measures on both market sides, which could re-establish equilibrium in compulsory health care insurance. In first part of the paper some indicators on economic environment development in Slovenia and expected changes in future years (the development projection) are presented. The estimation of future macroeconomic development is the basis for the examination and the proposals Eor potential measures in supply and demand of hea(th care services. Second part of the paper includes analysis of factors that influence supply-demand at the health care market. At the demand side are: health care insurance dissemination, disease pattern of the developed countries and demographic changes. At the supply side are: increasing value of work, the development of science and medical technologies and the lack of economic culture in public health service.
