Abstract		The article describes nursing and the significant role of a nurse/medical technician in performing a bronchial toilet at the Department of Anesthesiology and Invasive Care Unit. Intubation with a flexible bronchoscope is one of the special intubation techniques. There are numerous indications for the application of a flexible fiberoptic bronchoscope in performing a bronchial toilet in critical patients. The therapeutical bronchoscopy procedure usually involves a nurse/medical technician who was educated at the University Clinic of Respiratory and Allergic diseases Golnik. Special emphasis in the article is placed on the role of a nurse/med. technician in bronchial toilet of a critical patient under artificial ventilation.
Summary		Članek opisuje nego ter pomembno vlogo medicinske sestre/tehnika pri toaleti bronhijev v Oddelku za anesteziologijo ter intenzivno medicino. Intubacija s pomočjo upogljivega bronhoskopa je ena od posebnih tehnik intubacije. Pri toaleti bronhijev življensko ogroženega bolnika ima uporaba upogljivega bronhoskopa številne indikacije. Pri terapevtski bronhoskopiji sodeluje medicinska sestra/tehnik, ki se je izobrazil na Kliničnem oddelku za pljučne bolezni in alergijo Golnik. V članku je poseben poudarek na vlogi medicinske sestre/tehnika pri toaleti bronhijev življensko ogroženega mehanično ventiliranega bolnika.
