Abstract		What is shown here is the comparison between studies for radiographers and qualifications for obtaining a licence for practice in some countries of Central Europe (Austria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Germany and Slovenia). Research is based on information gathered by questionnaires and study programmes in individual countries. Authors of a research have come to a conclusion that study programmes are similar in content and duration, while there exist some differences concerning study levels, entrance qualifications, termination of studies and qualifications for obtaining a licence for practice. Titles that describe this profession aiso differ from country to country. In conclusion we have stated a few guidelines concerning the future form of edžcation for radiographers.
