Abstract		Thirty-one (31) elderly subjects after lower-limb amputation and 14 subjects after stroke who lived independently at their homes were tested with a set of functional tests. It was found that the test results depended on the impairment and its cause. The results could be used for the prescription of an appropriate physical activity program for the elderly with different impairments.
