Abstract		Ankle sprain is one of the most common injuries. Mostly, they are treated functionaly and have no consequences. Among "simple sprains" there are injuries with important sequelle. One of these injuries is a fracture of the lateral proccess of the talus (LPT). Fracture of the LPT is rare, but commonly overlooked. Clinical picture is similar to that in simple ankle sprain. Late or improper treatment leads to longterm problems and important disability.
