Abstract		In case of "successfully treated" calcaneal fracture in a young biker, the authors asked: How calcaneal fractures are treated in Slovenia? Is such a case an exception or there are more? Analysis of data from Public Health Care Institute RS and data from surgical departments shows an increasing incidence calcaneal fractures, specially in young, active people; a great differences in diagnostics and treatment among hospitals. It also shows that CT does not guarantee successful treatment and that corrective surgery is not used enough.
