Abstract | A touch is described as a tool of nonverbal communication and as a therapeutic act. A touch is very well developed primitive sense with a great emotional importance. Health workers, especially nurses are very familiar with touch. It is used for sorrie purposes: for relaxing or soothing the patients, for giving up self - confidence, for their better cooperation. Therapeutic touch stimulates the process of exchanging energy and participates in better feeling and faster convalescence. | |
