Abstract     Blood cells express different surface and intracellular antigens, cell markers. Presence of cell markers depends on cell lineage and stage of cell differentiation. Cell markers have various lineage-specificity. Immunophenotyping of cells is feasible by monoclonal antibodies, that have been grouped together depending on antigens they recognize. Groups of monoclonal antibodies are referred to as CD (Cluster Designation). Antibodies are directly conjugated with various fluorochromes and measured by flow cytometry. Immunophenotyping is usually performed in several steps. Panels of monoclonal antibodies can be used to identify normal, leukemic and lymphoid cells in the vast majority of cases. Immunophenotyping of leukemic and lymphoid cells is the most important examination for determination of subtypes of acute myeloid leukemia, acute lymphoid leukemia and malignant lymphoma.
Summary     Krvne celice imajo na svoji površini in v notranjosti različne antigene, ki služijo kot celični označevalci. Prisotnost teh molekul je odvisna od vrste in stopnje zrelosti celice. Celični označevalci imajo različno stopnjo vrstne specifičnosti. Imunofenotipizacijo omogočajo številna monoklonska protitelesa, ki so glede na antigen, ki ga določajo, razvrščena v CD (Cluster Designation) skupine. Z različnimi fluorokromi označena protitelesa določamo s pretočnim citometrom. Imunofenotipizacija je običajno večstopenjska. Z ustrezno kombinacijo protiteles lahko v večini primerov ločimo normalne, levkemične in limfomske celice. Imunofenotipizacija nezrelih levkemičnih in limfomskih celic je najpomembnejša preiskava za opredelitev podvrst akutne mieloične levkemije, akutne limfoblastne levkemije in malignih limfomov.
