Abstract		Rights, passed by the Law on Parents Custody and Family Income, are only one segment of the whole policy on family, and is carried out also with the measures of other policies. Resolution on the basis of family policy (1993) is a linking chain between other policies (residential, school, health, social welfare). Law on Parents Custody and Family Income, passed by the Parliament in November 2001, which came into force 1 Jan. 2002 regulates themes which had previously been regulated by two laws (Law on Work Relations and Law on Family Incomes). We have included some novelties and redefined some of already valid rights. This new Law regulates two complexes of rights: insurance of parents' custody and rights, arising from it, family incomes. All the novelties are shortly presented. All the rights are asserted in the competent Centres for Social Services.
