Abstract		The extraction of valley connectivity network (VCN) and ridge connectivity network (RCN) is an important task of a geomorphologist. The paths of these VCNs and RCNs are the crenulations of "V" and "A" shapes in the spatially distributed elevation regions in the Digital Elevation Model (DEM). Morphological transformations have been used to extract these VCN and RCNs from a sample DEM. Multiscale DEMs have been generated by applying Ganssian blurring technique, to observe the changes in the intricacies in these VCNs and RCNs.
