Abstract		The state of the orofacial region is one of the most important factors in speech-language development. Irregularities of anatomic structures of this region are followed by severe disorders in speech production. Some of European countries, USA, Japan, Taiwan, Mexico. . . and many others, have managed to establish a treatment protocol for children with this kind of anomalies. We wanted to systematize both the treatment and the diagnostic procedures. With that goal, we've tried to make a good treatment protocol for children with cleft lip and palate who come from all of the today's Yugoslavia. The results are presented in this paper.
