Abstract     In the last decade the interest in the Slovenian sing language has been rising also in Slovenia. The research based on a questionnaire consisting 5 viewpoints concerning on the equality of Slovenian sign language. 190 persons were included in the research, 45 Slovenian sign language speakers and 145 Slovenian language speakers. The groups of participans structurally discern in independent factors like: age, sex, and level of education. The research as a whole showed a positive attitudes of participations towards the equaliiy to the Slovenian sign language, the most Slovenian language speakars, the less Slovenian sign language speakers. The results according to the sex are not statistically important, the same is the age and education. The most important factors are appertenance to the social group and personal experriances of speakers.
