Abstract | The article is focusing on early communication between parents and child. The method promotes family communication with preverbal babies. It encourages parents to use the time between birth and first worals of infant to communicate with simple signs. Studies has shown long time benefits. The article also talks about using the method with deaf preschoolers, pointing that a deaf child should build one (sign) language first to have a good foundations for building other languages. | |
