Abstract		Antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL) are significantly associated with obstetric complications, which are commonly the first manifestation of antiphospholipid syndrome (APS). APS is quite common cause of obstetric complications, which could be easily detected. APS is an important cause of obstetric complications and a preventable cause of pregnancy loss. In view of the fact that the prevention of obstetric complications associated with APS is very effective, we have to take in consideration the possibility of APS in patient with obstetric complications and perform all diagnostic tests to confirm APS.
Summary		Antifosfolipidna protitelesa (aPL) so pomembno povezana z zapleti v nosečnosti, ki so pogosto prva bolničina manifestacija antifosfolipidnega sindroma (APS). APS je precej pogost vzrok zapletov v nosečnosti, ki ga je mogoče dokaj enostavno ugotoviti. Ker je preprečevanje zapletov v nosečnosti ob APS zelo uspešno, moramo pri vsaki bolnici z zapleti v nosečnosti, ki bi lahko bili posledica delovanja aPL, pomisliti na možnost APS in jo napotiti na ustrezne preiskave.
