Abstract		Liver diseases related to pregnancy are not very frequent. However, they may result in maternal and/or infant mortality. An elevation of liver enzymes during pregnancy requires an intensive diagnostic workup. The differential diagnosis of an etiological factor responsible for liver disease during pregnancy is challenging. Considering that some of the disease entities demand an immediate delivery each physician should be able to recognize them. In differential diagnosis of the nature of liver disease the trimester of pregnancy is important.
Summary		Jetrne bolezni v nosečnosti niso zelo pogoste, vendar so lahko smrtne za plod in za mater. Vsak dvig aktivnosti jetrnih encimov v nosečnosti zahteva natančno diagnostično opredelitev. Ugotovitev vzroka jetrne bolezni v nosečnosti predstavlja trd diferencialno-diagnostični oreh. Ker je pri nekaterih boleznih potrebna hitra prepoznava in prekinitev nosečnosti, jih mora poznati sleherni zdravnik. Najboljše vodilo v diferencialni diagnozi bolezni v nosečnosti je trajanje nosečnosti.
