Abstract | The article presents a simplified kinematical model of the human upper extremity which is incorporated in the determination of the reachable workspace. The volume and the shape of the workspace are used to evaluate the functionality and movability of the limb. The metod, which is still being tested, promisses to become a very suitable approach in the determinantion of human upper extremity. The advantages over standard apporaches are as follows: vizualization of the limb reachability, use of various mathematical measures, computer-aided documentation, and objective comparison between limbs. | |
Summary | V prispevku smo predstavili poenostavljeni kinematični model gornje ekstremitete pri človeku in ga inkorporirali v izračun dosegljivega prostora. Volumen in obliko dosegljivega prostora smo uporabili pri ocenjevanju funkcionalnosti in gibljivosti gornje ekstremitete. Metoda, ki je še v.fazi preizkušanja, ima nekaj prednosti pred standardnimi pristopi merjenja gibljivosti, ker omogoča vizualizacijo, uporabo različnih matematičnih meril, računalniško dokumentiranje in objektivnejšo primerjavo gibljivosti med različnimi osebami. | |
