Abstract		To the clinician malignant neoplasia, generally known as breast cancer is a comprehensive term denoting a variety of diseases. The author points to this heterogeneity thus opposing the conventional opinion that this disease is a single entity discovered either in its early or late phase. The article offers descriptions of ten clinically relevant nosologic units, ranging from noninvasive to occult breast cancer.
